Madison Johnson is a passionate children's author inspired by classic picture books. She wants to bring back innocence and simplicity to children's literature and have them learn important life lessons along the journey. Children need to know how to expand their imagination, as this is becoming a myth in our own society.

"Back in August of 2018 my older sister Taylor was diagnosed with a rare cancer, and she later ended up going to heaven in March of 2019. The morning that my sister passed away, my mom and I went on a walk to get out of the house. While we were walking up the sidewalk a little white butterfly appeared and began to travel up the path with us. We had never seen a butterfly do this before. It traveled with us about 20ft of walking distance, staying right by our side. Shortly after, it decided it was time to go. As it flew away my mom and I looked at each other knowing that was a sign of my sister Taylor saying she was right there with us. This is what the white butterfly represents in my books and why it is so close to my heart."
